Museum Night Part Deux

The Brit and I decided to go to the Louvre for Museum Night. We arrived around 6 and left around 8:30. It’s a good thing we went early because as we left we passed hordes of people coming in. I snapped a few picks on my phone camera.

Deborah and Donna – these are for you :)

I'm with the Brit in a small city in a county bordering France :) I'd rather not give the name since it would be another identity clue if someone I know happens upon the blog. But let's say that I'm not a fan of the country. Hopefully we'll do some exploring this weekend. Most weekends we end up sleeping in so late, by time we get up it's too late to go anywhere that far.

Oops, country (not county).

ooo - intrigue! (oh, indulge a middle aged woman) certainly would not want you to slip up - i was thinking a roman holiday or such.
you city gals - the reason you go to the country is to realize why you like the city so much....

lol, nothing as exciting as Rome. You are so right, I can't imagine not living in a largish city.

You must be in Belgium. I went there once, by mistake, and stayed for as long as it took to turn the car round and cross back into France. No disrepect to the Belgians but I was trying to find Lille at the time!

Mouse, I'm not in Belgium. The Belgians are pretty chill and have good food compared to some others who are close by... The Louvre is amazing. I never tire of it,

because of my husband's work we have been lucky to make acquaintance (& good friends) with some europeans including some delightful belgiums. on my inquiry if belgium produced beer or wine the enthused response was no, the germans produced the beer, the french the wine and they drank it.

Seattle Parks - you definitely should if you get the chance. But pick the sections you want to see and pace yourself. The Louvre is HUGE.

Deborah - Belgium does beer (the Brit could go on for ages about it). I'm not a big beer fan, but you can get some nice fruity beers in Belgium that don't taste anything like beer :)
