did you get to watch some of the program?
the television coverage was good on all the channels; NPR did an awesome job post ceremony, talking to people of the crowd and then turning coverage of reactions worldwide to the BBC....
manymany observers today were also in D.C. to listen to MLK 44 yrs ago. quite something to listen to them marvel at the history & turn of events they had witnessed/were witnessing in that span of time...
And isn't it wonderful?
Yes I did watch. I went between CNN and BBC. When CNN played commercials I switched over to the beeb. It was odd for me watching parts of the inauguration with British commentary.
